Join AMAOKC

As a member of Oklahoma City’s chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMAOKC), you can stay in-tune with the latest in local and national marketing while staying connected to your marketing colleagues. You also have access to numerous resources, and educational and professional opportunities as a member of the American Marketing Association.

And we've got five SMART reasons why you should be an AMAOKC member!


To join the American Marketing Association and AMAOKC, follow these steps:

  1. Join the American Marketing Association online, or print a PDF application to submit by mail.

  2. During the process of joining the American Marketing Association, you have the option of choosing a local chapter. Choose Oklahoma City under the Local Chapter Listings for Oklahoma.

  3. AMAOKC will be notified of your membership status, and you will get the member benefits of discounted meetings, networking events and countless other opportunities for professional growth. To account for processing time of your application, we recommend bringing a membership confirmation, receipt or other form of documentation to show that you have joined the American Marketing Association and AMAOKC when you attend your first AMAOKC meeting.

Depending on your status as a marketing professional, educator or student, there are several options for choosing an American Marketing Association membership that fits your current needs:

AMAOKC monthly meeting costs are:

Member: $25
Nonmember: $35
Student Member: $20
Student Nonmember: $25 

Monthly meetings are the second Thursday of each month at Will Rogers Theatre from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. We don't hold meetings in December or July.

Already a member? Then keep coming to AMAOKC meetings (and better yet, bring guests) for a chance to win an iPad 3! Now through the June 2012 meeting, you'll get one entry per meeting and three entries per guest. Get your guest to join AMAOKC by June 1, and you'll get one extra entry per membership and four extra entries per group membership.
