Freezin' Season Jingle Mingle
Join us for our Christmas party.
December 8th, 4:30 - 7:30pm at Photoart Studios | 1738 NW 16th St, Oklahoma City - OK 73106
Three times a year, the Oklahoma City marketing and communications community gathers together to connect with each other and to help support a worthy cause. This year's Christmas Party, the Freezin' Season Jingle Mingle, will be held on Dec. 8th 4:30 - 7:30pm at Photoart Studios in the Plaza District, 1738 NW 16th St, Oklahoma City - OK 73106. The celebration is a simple excuse to share good times together while doing good work for others.
For me, this season's benefit is personal. Some of you know my family's story but for those that don't, I'll make it brief: two of our five children have had cancer. Our daughter, Anabel, survived. Our son Daniel, did not. He was three. In that short history lies a long journey filled with the anguish of hospital stays, multiple surgeries, radiation, lots of chemo and, of course, travel. When caring for a child with a life-threatening illness, most families experience extreme periods of separation at a time when it is vital to stay together. For many of these families, this is time that cannot be spared. The anxiety and turmoil under such circumstances defies explanation.
We are proud to announce that 100% of the proceeds from this year's Freezin' Season Jingle Mingle fundraiser will go towards a cause that hopes to mend this separation for many Oklahoma families, the OK Kids Korral:

It is our hope that the entire marketing and communications community in Oklahoma City (and a hundred or so of their friends) will join us as we raise money to support this worthwhile cause. In fact, we hope to bring everyone together with lots of smiles and laughs because this event is a party. It is a celebration of life and the awareness that while we are alive we can do something good to help those who need it. When I drift into a funk, I remember my son Daniel's boundless sunshine smile. In his short life, he packed more laughter and love into living than most adults I know. I have concluded that to enjoy living and to give back is the greatest way to honor those who have gone before us. I may not be able to change our past, but I can invest in someone else's future.
Will you join us as well? Please consider either donating an auction item for our fundraiser or by simply showing up to join forces to support a great cause. If you would like to donate an item for our auction, please email me: bobby@bobbylehew.com
