Volunteering is a great way to get involved and contribute to improving our chapter. You’ll get the opportunity to work closely with some of your peers and make an impact in the Oklahoma City marketing community.
Current Volunteer Opportunities:
Retention Committee – contact members at time of renewal to help them with the renewal process.
New Member Committee – contact new members to welcome them and help VP of Membership plan new member orientation events.
Hospitality Committee – call members to remind them of upcoming events, greet attendees at events and act as table host to initiate networking.
Social Media Committee – Help VP of Marketing update AMA OKC’s Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts and blog posts.

Time commitment: 1-2 days each month
New Membership Committee

Duties: Contact new members to welcome them and help plan new member orientation events.
Time commitment: 1-2 days each month

Duties: Call members to remind them of upcoming events, greet attendees at events and act as table hosts to initiate networking.
Time commitment: 1 hour each month to call and monthly events
Social Media Committee

Duties: Assist with updating AMA OKC’s Facebook and Twitter accounts and blog posts
Time commitment: 2 hours each month
